Why AGV, AMR, robotic casters are necessary?
We get these kinds of questions often.
First, they mechanically compensate for sensor errors mounted on AGVs, AMRs, and robots.
In fact, AGVs, AMRs, and robots cannot move more precisely than humans. There are many errors in the field that are difficult to overcome with sensors and programs.
Machines cannot drive carts as finely as humans. Moreover, the factory floor is not as flat as it looks.
In other words, many unexpected errors occur, which are mechanically corrected by AGV and AMR casters.
Second, they require tremendously enhanced durability.
AGVs operate 12 to 24 hours a day. Therefore, it requires 4 to 5 times the durability of human-drawn carts. Human-drawn carts run for less than 2 hours, even if they are pulled a lot in a day.
Mathematically, the fatigue is beyond the reach of normal standard casters.
G-DOK is a company that has researched and desinged AGV, AMR, and robot casters for 20 years.
It holds a number of related patents, and it launched the world's first AGV and AMR caster series, and eventually became a professional caster company that solves the problems of AGV and AMR engineers.
